Martin Kemp

Overview

Martin Kemp is a psychoanalyst working in private practice in London. His published work includes an early paper on a clinician’s emotional responses to working with young people who have experienced domestic violence. In recent years he has focused on  socio-psychological aspects of the international response to the conflict in the Middle East.

He was a founder member of the UK-Palestine Mental Health Network in 2014. A special issue of the International Journal of Applied Psychoanalytic Studies entitled ‘Settler Colonialism: the Palestine/Israel case’, which he guest-edited and to which he contributed two papers, appeared in the summer of 2020.
