Overview
Simon Weatherbed has been working in the field of peace building for twenty years. He has worked in a range of conflicts in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Simon’s expertise is in programme and project design for peace building or peace support, multi-stakeholder and multi-track dialogues, and conflict sensitivity.
His primary interest is in how international peace architecture and donor aid policies intersect with local actors and identifying the challenges and opportunities for human-rights sensitive practice.
